Curfew woman trapped in school

A Hamilton woman was this morning recounting to police just how she ended up trapped in a city school after a few too many drinks last night.
Sergeant Phil Ruddell said police were called to a school in Enderley about 2.20am after neighbours reported hearing glass smashing.
It is not known which school was involved.
"Officers arrived to find a woman who had somehow managed to gain entry into the school but was then unable to get out due to the effective fencing," Mr Ruddell said.
"The 35-year-old woman appeared to have been drinking for some time and said she was in the school grounds trying to take a short cut to get home because she was on home detention."
Mr Ruddell said the woman was "somewhat confused" when officers pointed out to her at 2.40am that her curfew began at 7pm.
