STREET PARTY: Tronik DJs play to a sellout crowd on Alexandra St in Hamilton on Saturday night.

Almost 4000 people braved the weather for Hamilton's Soundscape music festival on Saturday night.

The event spanned several zones and featured over 50 acts including DJ Sir-Vere, Sydney's Distrakt, Melbourne's TrumpDisco, UK's Steve Hill, Tim Phin, Karn Hall and Tronik DJs.

Bands also featured highly on the bill and included local groups The Good Fun and Dick Dynamite and the Dopplegangers.

For the first time the festival blocked off Alexandra St and included popular carnival ride The Scream Machine.
