A man who was wanted in connection with an alleged sexual assault in Taupo last week will appear in the Taupo District Court today, facing a charge of indecent assault.
The 27-year-old Taupo man was arrested after a complaint was made by a 22-year-old women following an incident last Thursday evening.
"Police would like to thank members of the public who provided valuable information to us in recent days,'' Detective Sergeant Tony Manunui of the Taupo CIB said.
