‘‘This also involved staff from out of town, but unfortunately we were unable to locate them,’’ he said.
He urged property owners to contact police if they aw any suspicious activity in the area.
‘‘When police arrived they found a car which had been reported as stolen from Mt Eden just three hours earlier,’’ Mr Shields said.
He said police were also investgating a property which may have been broken into, however he said that was still to be confirmed.
