An aspiring All Black allegedly drove while disqualified twice in two months.
Benjamin Charles Tameifuna appeared in the Hastings District Court yesterday on two charges of driving while disqualified.
The Chiefs prop did not enter a plea.
Police say he was caught driving on September 13 and October 25.
Tameifuna was part of the Chiefs Super Rugby winning team this year and trained with the All Blacks in the lead-up to the three tests against Ireland.
He was remanded at large to reappear in the Hastings District Court next month. Magpies and Chiefs management could not be reached for comment.
