Concerns are mounting for a Rotorua woman who has not been seen since last week.
Michelle Hoffman-Tamm's family and friends say her disappearance is out of character and they, along with police, are appealing for the public to help find her. Hoffman-Tamm, 51, was last seen leaving her home in Rotorua to go for a bike ride on Wednesday afternoon.
There were reports that she had been seen later in the evening near the West End Shops, but those sightings have not been confirmed, police said.
Police were concerned for her safety and said Hoffman-Tamm, also known as Mich, had a non-life-threatening medical condition that could worsen without medication.
Hoffman-Tamm is described as European, about 1.5m tall, of medium build with short, dark hair. Her bike was a red ladies' mountain bike.
