The bell will sound for the final time at Whitehall School, south-east of Cambridge, on December 14.
The school's Board of Trustees made the voluntary decision to close the 85 year old school due to a falling roll.
The BOT cited financial pressure on both parents and the community as reasons for the decision.
The school is now planning a Celebration Week leading up to the closure and invites pupils past and present to relive memories and say goodbye.
