An elderly Waikato man has admitted 11 sex charges against young boys.
In the High Court in Hamilton yesterday, Te Aroha man James William Milligan, 75,admitted 11 sex-related offences - some dating back to the 60s - against several victims.
Milligan appeared frail and was helped into the dock by counsel Kit Clews. Milligan admitted three charges of indecently assaulting a boy under the age of 16 at Auckland between May 5, 1966 and May 4, 1971.
The remaining charges, dated between February 2004 and February 2008, occurred at Te Aroha and involved a boy aged between 12 and 16.
The charges range from conducting an indecent act, inducing a boy to conduct an indecent act, indecent assault, unlawful sexual connection and attempted unlawful sexual connection.
Milligan was remanded in custody for sentencing in February.
