A Hamilton man facing nine charges of fraudulently receiving roofing materials has been remanded to reappear in the New Plymouth District Court - where the alleged offending occurred.

Carl Maurice Hall, 41, faces eight charges of obtaining by deception roofing materials to the value of more than $30,000. The remaining charge relates to roofing insulation worth $2084.95.

All offending is alleged to have occurred between April 2010 and May 10, 2012.

Hall will reappear in New Plymouth in January.
