WANTED: Police want to identify the woman wearing sunglasses in this CCTV image following the theft of eftpos cards.

Hamilton Police investigating a burglary on the city's western outskirts are appealing for the public to identify a woman using an eftpos card stolen from the home.

Constable Anthony Baker of the Hamilton Law Enforcement Team said the Brymer Rd home was broken into on January 14.

"Shortly after the burglary happened a woman has presented the card at the BP service station in Frankton, the Z service station on Liverpool St and the Countdown supermarket also on Liverpool St," he said.

The card was also used unsuccessfully at two ATM machines.

Anyone with any information on the identity of the woman in the photograph, or about the burglary, are asked to contact Mr Baker at the Hamilton Central Police Station on 07 858 6200.

Alternatively, information can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
