Tauranga murder trial postponed
The murder trial over the death of Tauranga businessman Gary Kimura in the High Court at Hamilton has been postponed until Wednesday.
Taonui Hiku, Witri Neketai, Jesse Hartley and Joseph Rewiri all face murder charges after Mr Kimura was attacked at his home on October 5, 2011.
He died five weeks later.
Justice Wylie adjourned the trial until Wednesday due to evidential issues.
But it is possible a new trial date may have to be set for later in the year.
Mr Kimura was married with six children and ran Gary's Tyres in Sulphur Point for about 15 years.
