The internet was abuzz last night and the subject was a topic of hot conversation at at least one Hamilton soiree.
Apparently, Hollywood superstar Kate Winslet has been spied in the Waikato.
One source told the Waikato Times that the Titanic star had been seen bra buying at the Bendon outlet in Riverlea Rd on Wednesday.
The rumour was later reinforced by one poster to the Times' Facebook page, who said - without going into detail that "a friend of mine served her in her place of work".
Another reader said Winslet "purchased some vino from Matangi store".
If the reports are to be believed, Winslet has been a busy woman since touching down in New Zealand with husband Ned Rocknroll. The pair were spotted in Masterton with The Hobbit director Sir Peter Jackson at the weekend, where she did a little shopping at a Pagani outlet, buying buying two $50 dresses, $24.99 aviator sunglasses, and a short-sleeve blazer for $54.99.
They also stopped to dine at a Masterton cafe.
The newlyweds took a Cook Strait ferry sailing to Picton on Tuesday.
Things became more mysterious after that, with reports of a private jet stopping to pick up customers on its way to Queenstown.
Is it possible that Mr and Mrs Rocknroll ordered the jet to make a detour, possibly while on its way to Auckland?
Have you seen Kate?
