Top student achieves further success

A Hamilton student who gained top honours in the Cambridge Exams has achieved further success as one of 10 Premier Scholarship Winners in the country.

Hamilton Boys' High School dux for 2012, Thomas Simpson, gained scholarships in geography and physics and scholarship with "outstanding" passes in economics, English and history, winning $10,000 a year to go towards study.

Three other Hamilton Boys' High students also received "outstanding awards" - Alistair Lockley, Segar Manoharan and Christopher Jury, who placed first in the world in his Cambridge history exam.
