A mother, her daughter and the daughter's partner all face drug charges after a police sting turned up 136 mature cannabis plants in two Waikato homes.
Hamilton Tactical Coordinator, Senior Sergeant Freda Grace said City officers searched homes in Pukete and Tokoroa this morning.
Police found 56 mature plants at the Pukete house and 80 in Tokoroa, she said.
"In addition a large television stolen in a burglary of a home on Hamilton's Peachgrove Rd two years ago was recovered along with $2000 cash at the Pukete home while a large scale electricity theft was revealed at the Tokoroa property."
Ms Grace said the 55-year-old occupier of the Tokoroa address was arrested along with the occupants of the Pukete home, her 25-year-old daughter and her 26-year-old male partner.
"The mother was in Hamilton visiting the younger couple at the time of the trio's arrest and all three will face drug cultivation charges.''
