Hamilton fanboys and fangirls unite

The line up for the city's second Armageddon Expo has been announced, and a voice actresses from The Simpsons gets top billing.

Yeardley Smith, who has voiced Lisa Simpson since 1991, is appearing at the event to be held at Claudelands Event Centre on May 25 and 26. Smith, who was teased as a child for her unusual voice, received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance in 1992 for her work on The Simpsons.

Julia Roberts' big brother Eric Roberts, who starred as The Master in the Doctor Who television movie of 1996 alongside Paul McGann as the eigth Doctor, is also appearing in Hamilton. He's also had roles in the Heroes television series, The Expendibles and The Dark Knight film.

Organiser Bill Geradts is promising to use more of the event centre this year after more exhibitors confirmed they would attend following last year's extremely popular event.

Other acting guests include David Giuntoli, Detective Nick Burkhardt in Grimm, Joe Flanigan, Lt. Colonel John Sheppard in

Stargate Atlantis, Mitch Pileggi, Walter Skinner on The X-Files,  Tony Amendola, Bra'tac in Stargate SG-1, Meagan Smith, the voice of Gwen Tennyson in Ben 10, and Janet Varney,  the voice of Korra in the Avatar: The Legend of Korra.

Batgirl and Red Sonja writer Gail Simone is also appearing alongside Mad and Simpsons comics artist Dean Rankine.
