Conditioner bandit burgles Hamilton homes
A Hamilton man burgled two homes, taking electronics, before stealing four bottles of conditioner from a supermarket.
Kali Tiloi, 20, admitted two charges of burlgary, one charge of unlawfully being in an enclosed yard and shoplifting in the Hamilton District Court today.
Tiloi, of Enderley, admitted breaking into an East St house on September 5, taking $1600 worth of property.
Tiloi and an accomplice then burgled an Alfred St house where they were found by police and also charged with unlawfully being on the yard.
Tiloi, who sports shoulder-length hair, also admitted stealing four bottles of Sunsilk conditioner from the Heaphy Tce Four Square supermarket on September 9 valued at $15.96.
Judge Peter Spiller convicted Tiloi on all charges and sentenced him to nine months' supervision,100 hours' community work.
Tiloi was also ordered to pay a total $1700 reparation to the victims at $25 per week.
