Fire crews are battling a fire which has engulfed several buildings at a rural Rotowaro property west of Huntly this morning.

Fire fighters were alerted to the fire about 8.15am and arrived at the Hangapipi Rd address to find "multiple sheds" and vegetation on fire, fire service shift manager Paul Radden said.

Four crews are still at the scene, Mr Radden said, adding it was too early to know what caused the blaze.

There were no reports of loss of life or injuries.

Meanwhile, a fire crew was called to a Violet St house in Raglan about 9am after a barbecue got out of control and set fire to a deck.
