A woman charged with attempted murder after a man was run down outside a Melville dairy and a car driven into the Waikato River last month has plead not guilty.
The 44-year-old woman, who has an interim name suppression, appeared in the Hamilton High Court this morning.
The victim, who was the partner of the charged woman, was run over at the Ohaupo Rd shops by the intersection with Normandy Ave in the Hamilton suburb of Melville.
The woman was alleged to have been driving the car then later drove into the Waikato River and had to be rescued.
