A man was injured when he was thrown from his jet-ski at Hot Water beach today.
The man, 34, failed to navigate a wave and became airborne, landing back-first on his jet-ski, Sergeant Brendon Bland, the officer in charge of Cooks Beach Police, said.
"A relative out on the water on another jet-ski has managed to bring the injured man to shore raise the arm," Bland said.
The man was taken to hospital with back injuries.
The incident happened about 1pm.
