A man has won $100,000 at the Black Caps one-day international in Hamilton today by taking a one-handed catch.

Tui have been running a "Catch-A-Million" promotion where punters in the crowd wearing a Tui t-shirt and lanyard can win the $100,000prize in each of the 12 Black Caps one-day matches this summer by taking a one-handed catch off a six.

The man, Michael Morton, took the spectacular one handed grab at Seddon Park when West Indian Kieran Powell hit a six into the crowd.

Sky commentator Mark Richardson said the catcher displayed "perfect technique".
