Laura Langman to marry this weekend
But there's no rest for the Silver FernAARON GOILE
Silver Ferns netballer Laura Langman will tie the knot on Saturday at her parents' farm in Te Pahu, south of Hamilton.
The 27-year-old will marry her partner of five years, Adrian Pooley, who is in his mid-30s and works as a sports science technician.
The reception will then be held somewhere between Te Awamutu and Cambridge. A big turnout is expected to be on hand for the day, including a number of fellow netballers, but Langman wasn't giving any details away when the Times spoke to her today, with a women's magazine paying for exclusive access to the occasion.
Langman, who has played 100 consecutive tests for New Zealand, met Pooley when he ran fitness tests for the Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic.
He proposed at their Hamilton home less than a year ago, but being a meticulous planner, Pooley was quickly onto organising all the details for the big day.
Despite her big day looming, Langman hasn't been able to shirk any netball commitments this week.
Having played for the Magic from 2003, Langman has now joined the Northern Mystics, and has a couple of trips to Auckland for training in the coming days, with the trans-Tasman league starting next weekend.
