A Glenview man has appeared in court charged with driving drunk and causing the death of a 21-year-old woman.

Boboy Leo Kenny, 23, was remanded without plea yesterday when he appeared in the Hamilton District Court on two Kenny, a roading worker, returned a blood alcohol level of 147mlg.

The legal adult limit is 80mlg. Day was a passenger in a car allegedly being driven by Kenny which crashed in Garden Heights Ave, Melville, about 3.30am.

The Mercedes hit a tree then bounced into a power pole, snapping it.

Kenny was bailed to reappear in court in May.
