Abstract artist returns to Cambridge for Autumn Festival
Renowned contemporary New Zealand abstract artist Richard Adams is returning to Cambridge with another art workshop.
The workshop's title is Grand Gestures with an Abstract Painting on Location, and it follows on from the success of his workshop at last year's Autumn Festival.
The workshop is open to painters of all skill levels, including people who have never painted.
Richard began exhibiting in 1982, abstract paintings in oil often with the surface pared back, and scraped away to reveal hidden layers.
In his workshops he sees himself as a guide allowing each individual to express themselves, so a painting can evolve.
You can be part of this day and experience a painter that has exhibited in New York, Tokyo, Sydney, London and Dubai.
Also a talented musician, Richard is a jazz violinist and the founder of the Nairobi Trio.
This is your opportunity to join Richard at his workshop on Saturday, April 22 at St Andrew's Church Hall, 11am - 4pm.
The cost is $25 and bookings are essential.
