Michael Cox's column in the Waikato Times is of some slight interest in providing an insight into the inner workings of the mind of a pompous ass.

However, his recent rantings about how the "Fifth Estate" (surely Fourth Estate?) is undermining the National Government are patently absurd. Surely a government of such profound sagacity whose every action is a blessing for the nation cannot be white-anted by a few heckling journalists. Perhaps this former bit player in National Party circles is falling prey to paranoia?

He should refrain from embarrassing himself in public with such fatuous twaddle.
