Open letter to Mayor and Hamilton City Council The sobering reality of Hamilton's CBD Let's keep the bridge a bridge A pathway to greater safety We need Jesse Ryder We need better shop fronts Letter: Rodeos are cruel Guy Fawkes irrelevant, end the fireworks Riff Raff corner needs a wall A halloween killjoy

What a pathetic sight it is to see pensioners carted into the Sky Casino in Hamilton on the weekends, travelling by buses provided by the casino.

Tottering into the den by any means including feet, walking frame, wheelchair, on sticks. One old chap was observed peering through a magnifying glass with his face a few centimetres from the pokie's screen. I think he arrived on roller skates!

Apparently, not enough money is being won from them as we now read about 500 hotel rooms to be built on top of the present structures, no doubt to accommodate the Chinese hordes from places where casinos are not allowed.
