All children born in New Zealand should have the absolute right to the information as to who their biological parents are. There are no valid excuses as to not providing this information when a person is mature and wants to know. Forty-eight years of first-hand experience living with one who wanted this information has caused me to be a persistent advocate of this.
And gay and lesbian parents will be no better or worse than the run of the mill. In many cases they will be better.
