Magic fans won't be having an early bed-time at the start of next week, with the team's trans-Tasman league preliminary final being scheduled for 9.18pm (NZ time) on Monday.

The Waikato-Bay of Plenty team face the Queensland Firebirds in Brisbane for a place in the grand final in Melbourne against the Vixens.

With the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre booked on Sunday, it was confirmed the game would be played on Monday night. While it will give both teams extra preparation, the one which progresses to the decider will have a quick turnaround, with that set down for Sunday, June 22 (time to be confirmed).

For Magic fans wanting to get to Brisbane for the game, season members (and Firebirds season members) have preferential purchase on tickets from 4pm (NZ time) today. Those can be purchased online at www.ticketek.com.au, by phoning 132 849 or from any Ticketek outlet.

The members' pre-sale closes at 10am (NZ time) tomorrow, when general public tickets will go on sale via the same channels.
