Fatal Thanksgiving shooting

A dispute over chores on the Thanksgiving holiday turned deadly when police say a 76-year-old man shot and killed his son after the two argued for most of the day.
The Gazette of Colorado Springs reports that Ayalis Clay Oliver is being held without bond in the El Paso County jail. He's accused of shooting his 49-year-old son, Keith Oliver.
The older Oliver told police that he and his son had been arguing for hours when the victim's mother asked her son to leave. When he refused, the arrest affidavit says the father went upstairs, retrieved a .357-calibre revolver and shot his son once in the head.
Ayalis Oliver then sat and waited for police to arrive. He makes his next appearance in court December 2.
