A United States girl narrowly missed decapitation after she posed for a photo with her head out the window of a hurtling train.
In a near entry for the Darwin Awards, she managed to bring her head back inside the cabin just milliseconds before a second oncoming train threatened to take it off.
Footage of the incident has been placed on YouTube, which shows a group of young friends getting ready to take a photo of one of the girls.
The man, presumably with the camera, tells her to "put your head out", and she does.
What happened next either stunned them into fits of laughter, or the lucky young girl did not realise just how close she came to suffering a gruesome death.
