What's the deal with Melania Trump's mysterious smile/frown?
Melania Trump's smile is proving more enigmatic than Mona Lisa's.
A video clip showing the woman forcing a smile for her husband, President Trump, during his inauguration ceremony, before quickly letting it fall as he turned around, has the internet intrigued. Slate called it dark, creepy, and devastating.
Jezebel on Monday posted a video which zooms in on the first lady's grimace, titled: "Melania Trump definitely loves her husband and is very happy to be here."
While some have speculated the clip was edited or reversed, the moment can be spotted at the 2 hour, 52 minute mark of the full video of the inauguration.

Following Trump's first address as president, Reverend Franklin Graham, pioneering televangelist and longtime spiritual adviser to American presidents, said: "Mr President, in the Bible, rain is a sign of God's blessing. And it started to rain, Mr President, when you came to the platform."
At that point, Trump turned to his wife.
Graham continued: "And it's my prayer that God will bless you, your family, your administration, and may He bless America."
However, from a different angle, it looks as though Trump could have been addressing his son Baron, who was fidgeting behind him – skip to 1.21 of the below clip.
Signs reading "#FreeMelania" were among the crowd at the Women's March on Washington on Saturday, and the hashtag began circulating online after the clip gained popularity.
