Two former US Navy Seals have been found dead aboard the Maersk Alabama, the ship featured in the pirate hijacking movie Captain Phillips.

The bodies of the secutiry contractors were found dead on Tuesday (local time) a day after the container ship docked near an island northeast of Madagascar, Fox News reported.

The firm that employed the men, Trident Group, said their families had been notified.
