Nearly 80 teenagers held against their will and forced into prostitution have been rescued in a three-day sweep of sex-trafficking rings across the United States.

The raids at hotels, truck stops and storefronts rescued 79 children and resulted in the arrest of 104 alleged pimps during sting operations in 57 US cities including Atlanta, Sacramento, and Toledo, Ohio.

The operation lasted between Thursday and Saturday and involved state and local authorities as well as the FBI.
