Las Vegas police say an overnight shooting in a parking structure outside a Las Vegas Strip movie theater has left two people critically wounded and one person with a minor injury.

Officer Laura Meltzer said gunfire erupted just after midnight Wednesday (local time) when two groups that knew each other squared off in the elevator lobby of the parking structure near the UA Showcase Theater.

One of the most seriously wounded men was found in the parking elevator lobby and the other in an elevator on the fifth floor.

Both were in critical condition.

Meltzer said it was not clear how many shooters there were but multiple shots were fired.
