Melania Trump debuts first official White House photo video

Melania Trump, reporting for duty. America's first lady debuted her first official photograph on the portion of the White House website devoted to her office.

The picture appears alongside the biography that has been on the page for weeks.

The pose reminds us just a bit of her predecessor, Michelle Obama. Both women are wearing black, with backgrounds that are obviously White House interiors. Nude-colored nail polish and a flash of those diamond rings (to remind us of The Guy) complete the side-by-side checklist.

The first lady lives in New York with the couple's 10-year-old son, Barron, and has largely remained out of the spotlight since her husband took office.
