Model and actress Elizabeth Hurley has slammed reports that she and former US president Bill Clinton had a torrid 12-month love affair during his presidency,
The 48-year-old British model's old flame, actor Tom Sizemore, has released a recording to website Radar Online, which he claims details his part in arranging a secret tryst between the former president and Hurley.
In the recording, Sizemore, 52, recounts how the former US president sent a plane in 1998 to fly Hurley to Washington DC, where Clinton reportedly slept with her in the White House, next door to Hillary Clinton's bedroom.
Sizemore said Clinton pulled him aside during the White House screening of the 1998 blockbuster Saving Private Ryan and asked if he and Hurley were still together. When Sizemore replied "no", Clinton demanded the actress' phone number.
"Give it to me, you dumb motherf---er," Clinton was alleged to have said.
"I'm the Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America. The buck stops here. Give me the damn number," Clinton was alleged to have said.
The then-president dialled Hurley's number, and introduced himself as her "Commander-in-Chief".
"Listen Elizabeth, this is the President," he said.
"I don't have any time for this s---. I'm keeping the world from nuclear war all the time. I'm sending a plane to pick you up."
Sizemore claimed the model arrived at the White House a few hours later, and spent the next four days with the president.
Sizemore said that as Clinton and Hurley turned to disappear into his room, Clinton turned to him and said: "I owe you one."
Hurley lashed out overnight about the allegations, taking to Twitter to attack what she called "ludicrously silly stories" on Twitter.
The 48-year-old actress said she was considering legal action over the story.
Ludicrously silly stories about me & Bill Clinton. Totally untrue. In the hands of my lawyers. Yawn.
