A Chinese vessel rams a Vietnamese fishery boat according to Vietnam state media; no one was hurt in the collision. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

Footage has aired of a Vietnamese fishing boat being rammed by up to seven Chinese ships.

While nobody was hurt, video showed one ship hitting the boat on its left flank, tearing chunks of material off the side.

Last week, China announced it was moving an oil rig closer to Vietnam's coast, raising tensions over China's assertiveness in the South China Sea.
