Firefighters free toddler trapped inside washing machine in China
A two-year-old girl stuck in a washing machine had to be rescued by firefighters.
The girl was found wedged into the drum on Thursday (local time) in Wuzhong, northwest China, the Mirror.co.uk reported.
Firefighters were unable to pull her out and had to dismantle the machine in order to free her.
Video of the rescue clearly shows the toddler in some distress as firefighters try to pull her out.
As fire crews dismantled the machine, she appears calmer lying on a pillow and clutching a toy.
A fireman is able to reach into the drum and free the girl's foot, which had been trapped, and pull her out.
It took just over 20 minutes for firemen to free her, Reuters reported.
