According to a new survey, nearly one in ten people from NSW, Queensland and Victoria admit to having secretly helped themselves to a workmate's lunch.
The survey of 5000 Australians carried out by a pizza chain found that the eastern states topped the list of the country's most unscrupulous workers, people who were willing to take the food out of the mouths of their colleagues.
According to the research, Tasmanians are the most honest - not a single respondent admitted to regularly lifting their colleagues' lunches.
The survey found that Victorians love to lunch the most, with 33 percent of workers regularly taking their full lunch hour.
Queenslanders are the hardest working - 75 percent of workers claimed to take half an hour or less at lunchtime while West Australians are the most likely to eat their lunch at their desks (26 percent).
