The littlest royal looks keen to follow in his father's footsteps - and even took a few of his own, a month shy of his first birthday at a charity polo match.
In his latest milestone to rivet the world, Prince George showed off his walking skills on the weekend, clutching his mother's hands and toddling along determinedly at a charity match dad Prince William was playing in.
Wearing striped red dungarees and a white polo shirt, George proved too much of a handful for the Duchess of Cambridge, who set the little prince down, only to have to scoop him up again as he made a run for freedom.
Grabbing at polo mallets lying on the ground and kicking a soft football, the future king also looked to be quite the aspiring sportsman.
He has outdone his father at the same age - Prince William was a full month older than George by the time he was crawling around on his hands and knees when he visited New Zealand with his parents in 1983.
George had not been seen in public since the royal tour of New Zealand and Australia ended last month.
