This is the second time the cat has gone viral on social media.

A cat who had previously achieved Twitter fame for his rebellious streak has returned to the spot where he first went viral.

A London branch of supermarket chain Sainsbury's again played host to the imposing cat, who watched over shoppers from a shelf.

The cat was not cooperative when staff tried to eject him, shot the same impudent expression at them, before returning to sit on another shelf.

He reportedly belongs to people who live beside the supermarket, and his stubborn nature is familiar to them.

"Security tried to remove him. He sauntered straight back in," a Twitter user wrote along with a photo of the cat's first appearance in November last year.
