Henderson Police are appealing to the public for sightings of a 13-year-old girl.

Aria Bailey Dehar was last seen by her mother at 8am on April 7 as she left her Mt Albert home to walk to school.

The Mount Albert Grammar student was officially reported missing on April 10.

Police say while Aria's disappearance is not considered to be suspicious at this time, they are concerned that she has not made contact with any family members in the past week.

Aria has been described as Maori/European with hazel eyes and long dark brown hair.  She is solidly built and about 165cm tall.

Aria also has a birth mark on the left side of her neck.

She was last seen wearing her school uniform - navy trousers and a light blue top with a navy strip on the collar.  Aria was also wearing black school shoes.

Anyone who has seen Aria, or may know of her whereabouts, please contact the Henderson Police on 09 839 0600.
