The roof appeared to be damaged in the blaze.

Wasley, who was staying with relatives near the scene, described the blaze as "large".

The roof of the house appeared to have fallen through and thick smoke could be seen billowing from the property.

When firefighters arrived, the single-storey property was engulfed in flames, a fire communications spokesman said.

Everyone who was at the property was accounted for and one person suffered minor injuries.

A fire investigator was yet to determine what caused the blaze.
