JK Rowling is not happy with Britain's vote to leave the EU.

Author JK Rowling has lost followers on Twitter after her public stance against the decision of the EU Brexit.

The Harry Potter author, who has been an outspoken campaigner of pro-Remain, was 'unfollowed' by Twitter users annoyed with Rowling's constant political tweets.

Clearly angered by UK's vote to leave the European Union, Rowling did not hold back from sharing her views and taking on Twitter trolls and critics.

"I'll use my influence whatever way I want," she tweeted. "This country needs to be freed of fascists on both right and left."

Many of Rowling's ex-followers took to Twitter to share their outrage against Rowling.

Some Twitter users even accuse Rowling of placing her political views through the Harry Potter series.

However, members of the remaining 7.6 million Twitter followers supported the celebrity's involvement in politics.

Some are even hoping she will include this political issue in an eighth instalment of the Harry Potter series.

It is no secret, JK Rowling has a way with words.
