Batman actor Ben Affleck dubbed 'Buttman' as more groping allegations emerge video

Ben Affleck has been dubbed 'Buttman' after several women accused the Batman star of groping them.

Affleck apologised Thursday to actress Hilarie Burton, who he groped in 2003 while she was interviewing him for MTV - but now more women have come forward demanding apologies of their own from Affleck.

Makeup artist Annamarie Tendler alleges Affleck groped her at a Golden Globes party in 2014.

"He walked by me, cupped my butt and pressed his finger into my crack," she said.

"I guess he tried to play it like he was politely moving me out of the way and oops touched my butt instead of my lower back?

"Like most women in these situations I didn't say anything but I have thought a lot about what I'd say if I ever saw him again."

Tendler's account was backed up by comedy writer Jen Statsky, who said that "multiple" people endured similar experiences to Tendler at the same event.

Affleck has yet to respond to Tendler, but in the meantime, the internet has given him a new nickname: "Buttman".

Affleck played the Caped Crusader in 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and will reprise the role in this year's Justice League.

The accusations levelled against Affleck come after numerous women came forward detailing experiences of sexual harassment and assault against his frequent collaborator Harvey Weinstein.

Affleck earlier condemned Weinstein's alleged behaviour, saying in public statement that it made him "sick".
