Joker and Harley Quinn film coming, to be helmed by Crazy Stupid Love directors
Joker and Harley Quinn are about to get spun off.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the eternally popular Batman villains Joker and Harley Quinn are to star in their own movie.
The film will reportedly be directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who were behind the 2011 movie Crazy, Stupid, Love.
The latest DC cinematic universe film is also potentially on the fast track, with both Jared Leto and Margot Robbie in talks to reprise their roles after their recent outings as the characters in Suicide Squad.

The magazine says the film is described as a "criminal love story," according to one source, featuring the two murdering maniacs who are cornerstones in the Batman mythos.
Joker and Harley Quinn have been long-term associates in the Batman DC universe, with Quinn's human alter-ego initially treating Joker when he was institutionalised in Arkham Asylum.
There's no word yet on a release date or any details on a title.
It comes a day after the news Hangover director Todd Phillips was attached to a solo Joker movie with Martin Scorsese executive-producing. It's thought that project would star another actor.
