Red carpet and selfies roll out for premiere of Thor: Ragnarok
Selfies, rave reviews and a little bit of Taika Waititi gossip welcomed in his new film Thor: Ragnarok at the red carpet premiere in Los Angeles, US.
Dubbed by some US reviewers as the best Marvel movie of all time, there's no doubt that fans, the cast and even Waititi himself were excited to finally see the movie on the big screen.
So excited it seemed, Thor:Ragnarok actor Mark Ruffalo accidently streamed a portion of the film on his live Instagram.
Apparently he put his phone in his pocket while still live-streaming. Ruffalo and the crowd could be heard laughing at scenes. About 250,000 fans were only able to hear a part of the film, Hollywood Reporter wrote.

The film is due to be released in New Zealand in about two weeks time. It had already received an overwhelmingly positive response from American reviewers who got an early glimpse of the latest Marvel flick.
Those reviewers described the film as a "blast", "hilarious and weird", "a solid popcorn flick" and "one of the funniest Marvel Studio movies".
The Hollywood Reporter also featured another hilarious story to have stemmed from the Waititi film. Leading man Chris Hemsworth recalled what felt like "a first date" when he met Waititi at a cafe prior to filming. It was pretty awkward."
Waititi though disagreed, saying "I don't get awkward".
"He was probably just very nervous to meet me. You know what they say, don't meet your heroes and all," he told The Hollywood Reporter.
Among the cast were Kiwi actors Karl Urban and Zoe Bell - the stunt double for Cate Blanchett.
An Instagram post of Urban showed him dressed to the nines while sitting in a vehicle.
Bell looked smashing in a New Zealand designed dress by Tanya Carlson.
Melting everyone's hearts were the dream team: Waititi, Chris Hemsworth and Ruffalo, with Waititi stretching his arm out to take a three-man selfie while someone from Marvel tried to interview them.
Before the premiere, Waititi tweeted a message to his fans saying: "Watch me fall on my ass and fracture my skull on the red carpet!".
Fortunately for him that hasn't happened, yet.
Thor:Ragnarok is officially released in New Zealand on October 26.
Already, it has been given thumbs up by film critics in the US who were given an early viewing.
