Taylor Swift embarks on new venture to launch personalised app

Taylor Swift is launching her own social media app for fans to follow her every day moves and share "Taymojis".

She's described it as "a creative, inclusive and community-driven place for users to better connect with each other… and Taylor!"

Called The Swift Life, the app is a partnership with Glu who also made mobile games like Katy Perry Pop, Britney Spears: American Dream, Nicki Minaj: The Empire, and Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.

Fans can connect with each other as well as Swift herself. "Taylor can see, like, and comment on posts!" a banner reads on the video.

Swift will also apparently be launching her own set of emoji stickers called "Taymojis" and fans can collect stickers and pictures.

She promises to add songs each week.

In a hand held piece to cam in black and white, Swift said: "I think you guys are really going to like this. I mean, I hope. It would be preferable if you did."

Just recently, Swift has been messaging fans with small comments on their photos or live-streaming on Instagram.

The Swift Life is set to launch in late 2017. A banner on her video says November 17 - but it is unclear if she is referring to that date as the launch.
