Fifth Harmony fans 'livid' band cancels tour at Edgefest
Fifth Harmony has cancelled its New Zealand tour leaving fans upset they can't get a refund on tickets.
The four piece US reality TV band was scheduled to headline MediaWorks' first music festival, KFC Edgefest in November.
A statement released by MediaWorks on Friday revealed the band had cancelled due to "unforeseen scheduling issues" just three weeks out from Edgefest in Christchurch.
"Fifth Harmony regret to inform their Kiwi fans that due to unforeseen scheduling issues, they will no longer be able to appear as part of the line-up for KFC Edgefest in New Zealand this November," the statement read.

Fans who already purchased tickets, flights and accommodation to see the girl band perform live were upset upon realising the band had pulled out.

Twitter user Alaniis Mariie said she paid $189 to see the band.
"I'm livid," she tweeted to the Fifth Harmony twitter account.
Others said they were not able to get a refund on their tickets. MediaWorks said that tickets were not eligible for refunds "based on ticketing terms and conditions".

"Like the fans, The Edge are disappointed that Fifth Harmony are no longer able to attend KFC Edgefest due to unforeseen scheduling issues," a statement read.
Fifth Harmony said in a statement that "the band want to issue a heartfelt apology for any disappointment or inconvenience caused to their fans.
"Normani, Ally, Lauren and Dinah are continually in awe of the love they receive from all of their fans in New Zealand as well as for the dedicated support they have received from The Edge Radio Station."

MediaWorks announced that Fifth Harmony, Jason Derulo and English DJ Jonas Blue would headline KFC Edgefest in July.
Derulo and Blue are still confirmed.
Replacing Fifth Harmony is Norwegian tropical house/pop princess Astrid S as well as Kings, Mitch James, Openside, P-Money and Savage.

Home and Away star Matthew Little, who plays VJ Patterson, is also planning on making an appearance as well as Jayden Daniels (Curtis Hannah), Lukas Whiting (Finn Connelly) and Luke Patrick (Frank Connelly) from Shortland Street.
The Edge will give away tickets on Monday to enter an exclusive catered VIP area at the festival with the stars.
Social media stars Jamie Curry and William 'Waiirua' Cribb as well as The Bachelor's Lily McManus (season 3) and Dani Robinson (season 1), health and lifestyle blogger Simone Anderson, The Block break-out favourites Ling and Zing plus The Edge team featuring Jay-Jay, Dom, Randell, Jono, Ben, Sharyn, Megan, Guy, Steph and Stuntman Sam will also make appearances.
Attendees have a range of activities to do which include getting a tattoo and playing playstation to win money, among other things.
KFC Edgefest kicks off in Christchurch's Horncastle Arena on Friday November 3, Wellington's TSB Bank Arena on Saturday November 4 and Auckland's Spark Arena on Sunday November 5. Each event boasts more than eight hours of the best in popular music, entertainment and activities.
