Horrible Histories stage show to tour NZ
A stage adaptation of the popular Horrible Histories books will tour New Zealand.
The show, first performed on London's West End, will tell the story of Britain's history - and promises to leave the "nasty bits" in.
The one-hour production will feature historic characters like Celtic warrior queen Boudicca, the cruel King John, bloodthirsty Henry VIII and original terrorist Guy Fawkes.
"You'll be amazed, appalled and ablaze with delight as this acclaimed West End show uses songs, audience participation, fun, facts and farts to tell the stories of the people who made Britain barmy!" the production's promotional material promises.
