Battlestar Galactica star Richard Hatch dead at 71
Richard Hatch, who played Captain Apollo on the original Battlestar Galactica TV series has died.
TMZ reported that Hatch had cancer and recently went into a hospice care.
Hatch landing a starring role on Battlestar Galactica in 1978.

He also worked as a writer and producer, writing novels based on the popular series.
"Richard Hatch was a good man, a gracious man, and a consummate professional," former colleague Ronald D. Moore tweeted after Hatch's death.
